Eating

Eating: Eating Disorders; Body Image

Eating disorders are common.  Bingeing, purging, starvation, over exercising, negative body image and obsessive thoughts and behaviours are frequently part of an unhappy relationship with food.

In therapy, together we can find the time and space to explore and understand your relationship with food.

Many people with concerns about their eating find in the past they were in difficult relationships in early life and they often have low self-esteem. Other people find that having lost someone close to them their relationship with food has change for the worse.

You will find that discovering what lies behind your eating disorder will offer relief and rebuild your sense of who you are.
